Store Manager - Retail

We are currently recruiting for a STORE MANAGER for our new Lillooet, BC location. Job Responsibilities:

1. Overall responsibility for sales and profitability of the store
2. Control expenses and manage customer relations
3. Ensure customer service standards are maintained
4. Ensure merchandise is filled and the store is easy to shop
5. Follow all merchandise and marketing guidelines
6. Recruit, train, develop, motivate, and manage a team of Associates & Keyholders
7. Set up ads properly and on time
8. Receive and manage freight & deliveries
9. Ensure all loss prevention policies and procedures are followed

Required Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

• 1-2 years retail management experience
• Grade 12 education or equivalent
• Career-minded, self-starter, and customer-oriented
• Ability to lead a team in a fast-paced, multi-task environment
• Strong communication, organizational, leadership, decision-making, and interpersonal skills
• Flexible, friendly, adaptable, efficient, and professional manner
