Job summary

Best Buy Canada is hiring a store leader to oversee a high-volume retail operation across multiple Metro Vancouver locations. You’ll lead a team of assistant store leaders, coaches, and advisors, while ensuring exceptional customer experiences and strong sales results.

The role requires 7+ years in retail store management, leading a 50+ person team and $30M+ store, managing expenses and revenue, and a proven track record of hitting sales targets.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of retail store manager experience.
• 5+ years leading a retail team of at least 50 employees and a $30+ million big box retail store.
• 5+ years of experience managing and reviewing operational expenses and revenue.
• Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales goals in a high-sales volume store.
• Ability to commute to multiple store locations within Vancouver area.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of our store, from leading a team of assistant store leaders, team leads and advisors to partnering with all areas of the business, and vendors
• Motivate, coach, develop and inspire your team to help customers find the perfect product or service
• Cultivate an inclusive team and learning culture while having fun
• Oversee store KPI’s (revenue, merchandising standards, inventory health, health and safety)
• Maintain a healthy profit and loss
