Job summary

Banana Republic in Markham, Ontario is seeking an energetic team member to support the store leadership team by performing functional tasks, modeling selling behaviors, and driving the customer experience.

You will collaborate with colleagues, educate customers about loyalty programs, ensure tasks are completed efficiently, and contribute to a best-in-class environment. Flexible shifts, including evenings and weekends, are required to meet business needs.

Qualifications

• Flexible schedule, including holiday, evening, overnight and weekend shifts
• Able to maneuver around the sales floor, stockroom and office and lift up to 30 pounds
• Ability to utilize technology effectively to engage with customers and team to meet goals
• Clear and direct communication of expectations

Responsibilities

• Consistently treat all customers and employees with respect and contribute to a positive work environment
• Promote customer loyalty by educating customers about our loyalty programs
• Lead by example with brand selling behaviors to provide an exceptional customer experience
• Support store leadership during non-peak hours with the customer as the primary focus
• Collaborate effectively with employees to ensure tasks are completed timely and efficiently
• Build and share expertise in the product lifecycle
• Support opening/closing checklists and after-hours tasks
• Leverage omni-channel to deliver a frictionless customer experience
• Ensure all compliance standards are met
