Job summary

Indigo Books & Music in Canada is seeking a Customer Experience Leader (CEL) on a part-time, two-month contract. The role sits on the Store Leadership Team and focuses on delivering exceptional customer experiences, store operations, and profitability targets across channels.

You will supervise duties, open/close shifts, coach staff, and ensure health and safety standards, while working 25+ hours per week including evenings and weekends as required by the posting.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years in customer service, merchandising or operations.
• Experience leading others and coaching staff.
• Able to lift up to 40 pounds and navigate store environments.
• Knowledge of health and safety standards applicable to retail.

Responsibilities

• Lead store operations and customer experience as part of the Store Leadership Team.
• Inspire a customer-centric culture across physical and online channels.
• Open and close the store, meet sales plans, manage facilities and safety.
• Coach staff and support talent development and planning.
