Job summary

Walmart Canada in Saint John, NB is seeking a team-focused leader to assist in backroom and unloading operations and to develop associates through teaching and training. You will ensure customer service excellence while achieving task completion and assist on the salesfloor as needed.

The role requires strong communication, safety adherence, and the ability to lead daily team huddles, coordinate priorities, and support store management in daily operations.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers and guiding purchases.
• Direct and coordinate tasks per priorities from Store Management.
• Assess backroom presentation and place merchandising changes as needed.
• Lead daily team huddle and communicate updates to the team.
• Ensure security of high-ticket items and complete daily audits.
• Review schedules with People Lead.
• Identify training opportunities and develop associates through coaching.
• Maintain a safe, clean work environment following policy and safety logs.
• Complete GTA/Workday tasks and support management.
• Support recruiting and growth conversations with the Coach/People Lead.
