Job summary

Chancellor Dental Centre in Winnipeg is seeking a dedicated sterilization technician to support our clinical team. You will clean, package, sterilize, and store instruments in IPAC-compliant procedures, enabling smooth patient flow and safe care.

Join a community-focused practice that offers ongoing education, modern technology, and a collaborative environment with physicians, hygienists, and staff. Prior MDRT/Dental Assisting experience is preferred, and you must be legally eligible to work in

Qualifications

• IPAC-compliant sterilization procedures and provincial regulations
• Experience in dental instrument processing and packaging preferred
• Knowledge of sterilization equipment operation and documentation

Responsibilities

• Clean, package, sterilize, and store dental instruments in IPAC-compliant manner
• Operate and monitor sterilization equipment and perform required testing
• Maintain accurate records for compliance and audit readiness
• Keep the reprocessing area clean, safe, and organized
• Identify and report equipment or sterilization issues promptly
• Collaborate with clinical team to support efficient patient flow

Your Role:

• Clean, package, sterilize, and store dental instruments in compliance with IPAC standards and provincial regulations

• Operate and monitor sterilization equipment, completing required testing and documentation

• Maintain accurate records to support compliance and audit readiness

• Ensure a clean, safe, and organized reprocessing area following health and safety protocols

• Identify and report equipment or sterilization issues promptly

• Collaborate with the clinical team to support efficient patient flow

About You:

• Previous clinical experience working in sterilization role is considered an asset

• Completion of an accredited Dental Assisting and/or Medical Device Reprocessing Technician (MDRT) Programs is preferred

• Experience with IPAC (Infection Prevention and Control) is an asset
