Job summary

Sherbrooke Dental in Saint John, NB, part of Dentalcorp, is seeking a full-time Sterilization Technician to maintain instrument reprocessing, ensure IPAC compliance, and support the clinical team. You will clean, package, sterilize, and store instruments and operate sterilization equipment efficiently.

The role requires accreditation in Dental Assisting or MDRT programs and previous sterilization experience; IPAC knowledge is an asset.

Qualifications

• Accredited Dental Assisting and/or MDRT program completion preferred.
• Experience in IPAC (Infection Prevention and Control) is an asset.
• Previous sterilization experience is valued for this role.

Responsibilities

• Clean, package, sterilize, and store dental instruments in compliance with IPAC standards and provincial regulations.
• Operate and monitor sterilization equipment, conducting required testing and documentation.
• Maintain accurate records to support compliance and audit readiness.
• Ensure a clean, safe, and organized reprocessing area following health and safety protocols.
• Identify and report equipment or sterilization issues promptly.
• Collaborate with the clinical team to support efficient patient flow.
