Interior Health's Royal Inland Hospital in Kamloops, BC, invites applications for a Casual Staffing Services Scheduling Clerk. This in-office role supports staffing operations, scheduling and workforce coordination to ensure high-quality patient care.

The position operates on rotating day/evening shifts (05:00-14:00, 14:00-23:00, 07:30-16:00, 09:00-18:00) and involves data entry, timekeeping review, and payroll clerical duties.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 plus three years' recent related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
• Typing Test 35 wpm or greater, dated within the past 48 months and issued by a valid institution.

Responsibilities

• Receives and processes requests for vacancy coverage to ensure staff compliment baselines are met.
• Allocates and calls in relief staff to fill vacancies.
• Receives and processes on-staff payroll removal notices and change notices.
• Reviews and audits timekeeping records.
• Reviewing, calculating and editing on call and call back hours.
• Data entry.
• Reception and clerical duties.

Position Summary

Royal Inland Hospital has an exciting opportunity for a Casual Staffing Services Scheduling Clerk to join their team in Kamloops, B.C!

This is an in-office position that plays a key role in supporting staffing operations and ensuring the delivery of high-quality care services through effective scheduling and workforce coordination.

This position works rotating days, evenings 05:00 to 14:00, 14:00 to 23:00, 07:30 to 16:00, 09:00 to 18:00.

What Will You Work On?

In this role you will work in a customer-focused, team-oriented framework performing staffing, scheduling and payroll clerical functions in a fully automated system. Some typical duties will include:
