Job summary

Corpay seeks a Staff CloudOps Developer in Vancouver to design, build, and manage scalable infrastructure and deployment pipelines. You will mentor the team and drive reliability, security, and platform agility across cross-functional initiatives.

You will collaborate with development, security, and compliance teams, develop infrastructure as code, and lead automation to reduce operational overhead while maintaining high-quality, well-tested code. Experience with AWS/EKS and GitOps.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years' of industry experience where you have developed several significant feature sets and infrastructure automation projects from start to finish.
  • Strong hands-on experience with a cloud provider, ideally AWS
  • Recent hands-on experience with EKS or Kubernetes for container orchestration, cluster management, and microservices deployment.
  • Recent experience with GitOps using FluxCD. ArgoCD.
  • Recent hands-on Experience with DevOps tools like VCS (GitHub, GitLab), Ansible, Artifactory, Synk, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Pulumi, Cloud Formation), etc.
  • Experience building CICD pipelines and with at least one programming language to deliver a production backend service
  • Strong fundamentals in Networking, infrastructure, Linux and Windows.
  • Life-long learner and self-starter, including the ability to quickly become productive in an unfamiliar technology or codebase.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal and collaboration skills, with experience working in cross-functional teams.
  • A keen interest and proven experience in improving team standards and process.
  • Mentoring experience in your area of expertise

Corpay is looking to hire a Staff CloudOps Developerwithin our PayByPhone division. This position falls under our International Fleet line of business and is located in Vancouver, BC. As a Senior Cloud Operations Developer, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and manage our infrastructure and deployment pipelines while providing technical guidance and mentorship to the team. Your expertise will be critical in ensuring our systems' reliability, scalability, and security. You are a self-starter with an innovative mindset that motivates you to keep up with the latest technologies and drives you to do great work, period. What You'll Be Doing

This salary range is provided for locations which require such disclosure. Where a position or applicant may fall in a particular wage range varies depending on a number of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience, training, licensure and certifications (if applicable), and other business and organization needs. The disclosed range has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic markets. At Corpay, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. An estimate of the minimum and maximum salary range is CAD 140,000 -$190,000.
