Job summary

RBC seeks an experienced Staff Software Engineer to design and implement robust AI services powering enterprise AI solutions. You will lead architecture decisions, partner with infra and ML teams, and drive scalable, secure deployments across cloud and on‑prem environments.

Ideal candidates bring deep distributed-systems expertise, strong Python/Golang skills, API design experience, and hands-on work with Docker/Kubernetes/OpenShift in hybrid deployments leveraging AWS/Azure.

Qualifications

Strong and relevant experience designing and implementing distributed systems and software architectures for AI services
Hands-on experience building and deploying scalable applications and services using modern frameworks and technologies
In-depth knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes or OpenShift Container Platform (OCP4)
Experience designing APIs, event-driven, microservices, and service-oriented architectures
Strong proficiency in Python and Golang
Experience with cloud environments (AWS/Azure) and on-premises deployments

Responsibilities

Designing, building, and optimizing AI services that power business AI/ML applications
Architecting software best practices for code quality, performance, and scalability across AI apps
Collaborating with infra engineers and ML researchers for reliable AI deployments
Leading technical design decisions and architecture for AI apps, including API design and data models
Building scalable, resilient cloud and on-prem software systems for hosting AI services
