Job summary

Baker Tilly Canada in Emerald Park, SK is seeking a Staff Accountant to support the preparation of accounting records and financial statements, and to assist with personal and corporate tax returns for clients. You’ll collaborate with a dynamic team to deliver accurate, client-focused results.

The role requires post-secondary education in Accounting (Diploma or Degree) and at least 1 year of Canadian public practice experience.

Qualifications

• Completion of post-secondary education in Accounting (Diploma or Degree).
• At least 1 year of Canadian public practice experience is required.
• Knowledge of Microsoft O365, QuickBooks Online, Taxprep, and Caseware is preferred.
• Ability to work independently and with others.
• Ability to exercise logic and sound judgement regarding confidential and sensitive matters.
• Strong understanding of a client-focused environment and meeting client expectations.

Your schedule:

Monday to Friday

Jan–June: 8:00am – 5:00pm (1 hr lunch) (40 hrs per week)

Jul–Aug: 8:00am – 4:00pm (1 hr lunch) (35 hrs per week)

Sept–Dec: 8:00am – 4:30pm (1 hr lunch) (37.5 hrs per week)

Salary range:
