Job Description: Senior Technical Program Manager - Amazon FinTech

We are bringing Amazon's trademarks (big ideas and customer obsession!) to Finance Technology at Amazon. Come help us build new solutions and experiences to scale for Amazon businesses, finance operations, and payees/vendors' continuous growth.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop systems to automate and optimize financial processes such as Payables (PTP), Receivables (OTC), Financial Accounting and Reporting, Planning, Record to Report, Financial Data Warehousing, Tax Identity, Withholding, Accounting, and Audit.
2. Drive communication and cooperation across teams in this greenfield initiative.
3. Establish and drive the technical future for the problem domain in collaboration with technical leaders.

Ideal Candidate:

• Strong technical background with experience in technical management or program/product management.
• Comfortable working with service-oriented architectures and large data sets.
• Ability to build relationships and earn trust across teams.
• Adaptable to start-up and mature environments, strategic and hands-on.

Key Qualifications:

• 7+ years working directly with engineering teams.
• 5+ years in technical product or program management.
• 3+ years of software development experience.
• Experience managing cross-functional programs, processes, and release schedules.
• Proficiency in project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, risk, and critical path management.
• Experience defining KPIs/SLA's for multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to leadership.
