Overview

Senior Service Engineer opportunity located in Montreal or remote from Ontario at Supra ITS Canada. This is a senior-level, hands-on role within the Global Service Desk team with a focus on delivering exceptional IT services and customer experiences.

Responsibilities
  • Respond to and resolve technical support requests from end users via service calls
  • Monitor system alerts and notification tools to proactively identify and address issues
  • Triage incoming support tickets and route them to the appropriate teams or escalation paths
  • Perform routine operational tasks and maintenance on servers to ensure system stability
  • Assist with basic hardware repairs and troubleshooting for printers, desktops, and laptops
Requirements
  • Must have a "+customer first" attitude and exemplary verbal communication skills
  • Ability to document processes and communicate effectively in written form
  • Team player with proactive, collaborative approach
  • Relevant education required
  • Past experience in a Customer Service role in IT
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel within the local region
  • Availability to work Monday to Friday during standard office hours
  • Ability to obtain a federal reliability security clearance
  • Strong technical skills in Windows Server infrastructure (on-premises and cloud), Microsoft 365 (O365) and Azure, Active Directory / Entra ID, Group Policy, Intune, and related Microsoft cloud identity services
  • Knowledge of networking fundamentals (DNS, DHCP, VPN, firewalls) and backup / disaster recovery concepts
  • Experience with virtualization (Hyper-V, VMware) and hybrid integrations
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to document and mentor
Education & Experience
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field
  • 7–10 years of technical support experience
  • Proficiency with Windows, macOS, and common business applications
  • Willingness to travel within the local region as needed
  • Ability to work remotely and on-call as required
