Your role at Clorox:

The Senior Sales Analyst is a key position supporting our Clorox Sales ambition to be Leaders in Value Creation.

This role reports to the Customer Team Leader for Costco/Dollarama and acts as the primary support for all aspects of this business. The successful candidate will gain exposure to dynamic markets and valuable learning opportunities.

The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical skills to generate insights that drive growth across categories, customers, and Clorox. They should understand both Costco, Dollarama, and Clorox strategies, providing integrated solutions. As a team player, they will support team priorities, identify new opportunities, and develop go-to-market strategies through customized reports, utilizing macro-economic, consumer, and retail insights. Collaboration with Sales Stakeholders, Strategy Teams, and Customer Category Management Teams is essential for developing and executing business plans to grow Clorox categories and brands within these accounts.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Create and manage reports tracking business metrics such as POS, shipments, Nielsen performance, share, pricing, ecommerce, promotions, distribution, and new items.
  2. Identify real-time insights at retail to develop AAA strategies—Assortment, Availability, Activation—and support customer teams with opportunities in assortment, merchandising, pricing, and shelving.
  3. Conduct weekly customer and category reviews and deep dives as needed.
  4. Perform post-promotional analyses and track special event performance, including digital activations.
  5. Summarize ongoing account performance and communicate results, including scorecard updates and improvement recommendations.
  6. Assist in developing insights and storytelling presentations for customers and internal teams.
  7. Provide high-level, impactful summaries from data to facilitate understanding and action.
  8. Support ad hoc analytics and business requirements.
  9. Present analyses to key stakeholders.
  10. Monitor baseline and promotional volume data in Exceedra for accuracy.
  11. Support promotional payment processes and collaborate on deduction clearing.
Qualifications:
  • University Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or equivalent experience.
  • Knowledge of Costco and Dollarama is advantageous.
  • Experience as a Sales Analyst in the CPG industry, especially with National/Regional Accounts.
  • Experience conducting business case studies is valuable.
  • Broad insight experience in category, brand, customer, and shopper analysis within North American markets.
  • Experience with Circana IRI is a plus.
Work Environment:

Hybrid model—3 days in-office, 2 days remote.
