Job summary

Profile Overview:

Our TELUS Digital Operations division is hiring a Bilingual Senior Project Coordinator to support the implementation and analysis of customer facing and internal projects. The successful candidate will have a proven background in project coordination and business analysis. We’re looking for a responsible, articulate and motivated Senior Project Coordinator who can quickly sort through a lot of data and provide the necessary reporting that include financial and project. You will be responsible for supporting our Project /Program Managers with processing project data at any given time.

Responsibilities:

● Ensuring project team adheres to provided timelines and deliverables

● Checking and following up with PMs to ensure project documentation is maintained throughout the project lifecycle

● Managing and building relationships with multiple teams internally and with externally

● Work closely with the PMO manager

● Assisting project Managers with project administrative tasks (Project change requests signature, following up on customer’s POs, etc.)

● Help with day-to-day management activities for the Project Management team

● Analyzing project data and producing required reports (i.e. Progress, control, SLAs, Financial accruals, etc.)

● Lead own assigned standard projects/ implementation orders to completion

● Help develop individual project plans complete with budgetary information and resource needs

● Communicate with our IT resources managers about resource allocation

● Conduct project quality audit on scope, budget and schedule variance and report findings to PMO manager for corrective actions

● Process monthly project billing for active projects and advise PMO of variance needing corrective actions

● Process Vendors’ labour SoWs and coordinate with them as needed for their invoice payment as directed by the project/ program manager

● Actively participate in the PMO meetings

● Engage and participate in leveraging our corporate AI tools

Required Skills and Abilities:

● Candidate should have good communication skills (English +French).

● Ability to work independently and as part of a team

● Able run small projects more effectively and independently.

● Ability to adapt to changing environments and timelines

● Excellent attention to detail

● Excellent communication and organizational skills

● Ability to organize priorities based on deadlines

● Knowledge of PM principles, processes and tools, such as Waterfall, Agile and SCRUM.

● Comfortable interacting with vendors, clients, internal teams.

● Ability to seek creative and innovative ways to deliver client solutions.

● Strong presentation, oral and written communications skills.

● Strong analytical skills.

● Ability to thrive in an ever-changing, fast paced environment.

● Demonstrated facilitation and organizational skills.

● Mastered working knowledge of MS Word, MS Excel, MS Project, Visio, PowerPoint, MS Outlook, SharePoint.

Required Professional Designation/Certification:

● University Degree preferred

● College diploma in business or project management or

● Certificate In Project Management (PMP or equivalent) or

Required Experience:

● 3 years Project Coordination of a major, complex engagement.

● Experience coordinating projects throughout the project life cycle including some pre-sales.

● A proven track record for executing and delivering on objectives; previous experience managing change orders and validating change request.
