Job description

Dayforce is a global human capital management (HCM) company headquartered in Toronto, Ontario, and Minneapolis, Minnesota, with operations across North America, Europe, Middle East, Africa (EMEA), and the Asia Pacific Japan (APJ) region. Our award-winning Cloud HCM platform offers a unified solution database and continuous calculation engine, driving efficiency, productivity and compliance for the global workforce. Our brand promise - Makes Work Life Better TM - reflects our commitment to employees, customers, partners and communities globally.

Location: Work is what you do, not where you go. For this role, we are open to remote work and can hire anywhere in North America.

About the opportunity: The Senior Director of Partner Enablement is a key strategic leader within the organization responsible for leading the strategy and execution of enablement initiatives designed to enhance partner sales capabilities to sell Dayforce. This role will also be responsible for creating a vision for how best to educate the company about the partners Dayforce works with, their key strengths, the programs they are in, and their performance. The Senior Director of Partner Enablement will work closely with all of the organizations within the company where coordination for partner enablement is required (services, solution advisory, managed services, support, etc.) to ensure gaps are filled in where needed and the entire enablement experience from sales to delivery to post go-live support is built out, coordinated, and seamless.

What you’ll get to do:

Training Program Development
  • Design and deliver comprehensive training programs for partners, focusing on product knowledge and Dayforce’s sales strategies and methodology.
  • Partner closely with sales and other business leaders to create and develop dedicated learning paths for partners to reinforce critical sales competencies and unique programs.
  • Lead the charge in working with the relevant teams to make certain there is a well thought out enablement plan for new partner programs, new product rollouts, and new pricing and packaging changes.
  • Evaluate the right timing to introduce partner accreditation paths and execute accordingly.
  • Stay up to date on enablement best practices and incorporate them into planning.
Enablement Content Creation
  • Leverage existing enablement materials and recreate them to be relevant to a partner audience.
  • Collaborate with internal subject matter experts to create and maintain partner enablement materials, including presentations, playbooks, e-learning modules and demo scripts amongst other things.
  • Create the right level of content to enable Daymakers on who our partners are, what they do, and how people can expect to see them engage with the company.
Communication
  • Create a sales enablement communication strategy that takes into consideration the various partners at Dayforce and the type of content that is relevant for them (e.g. publicly available information on Dayforce versus a product deep dive).
  • Work with all the teams that communicate with partners to evaluate impact, timing, and relevance of the communication being sent to partners for the purpose of creating a more programmatic communication strategy.
  • Develop a communication plan internally that provides the company with relevant information about partners that includes, but is not limited to, new partner announcements, win stories, partner metrics, etc.
Metrics
  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor and measure the effectiveness of enablement programs while identifying areas for improvement and highlighting success stories.
  • Work closely with the data analyst to provide regular reports and insights to senior management and the partner management team.
  • Monitor and evaluate partner performance metrics and feedback to continuously improve training programs and resources.
Cross-functional Collaboration
  • Work closely with the partner management team to continually understand partner needs and challenges globally.
  • Liaise with pertinent internal teams to ensure alignment and support for partner initiatives.
Partner Engagement and Onboarding
  • Build strong relationships with key partners to understand their needs and challenges, ensuring that enablement efforts are relevant and impactful.
  • Develop a scalable onboarding process for new partners, ensuring a smooth transition, quick ramp-up time, and necessary resources to succeed.
Team Management
  • Grow a high performing partner enablement team, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.

Skills and experience we value:

  • 15+ years in a sales enablement role with at least 10 of those years in a partner sales enablement role.
  • At least 5+ years managing a partner sales enablement team.
  • Deep experience of partner businesses (Advisors, Private Equity, System Integrators, etc.).
  • Deep experience with driving partner sales enablement strategy and programs.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills to senior and executive leadership audiences.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and work on diverse work groups on multiple initiatives concurrently to achieve functional area and corporate goals.
  • Strong product, competitive and business acumen, including strategy, planning, complex problem-solving, financial ROI, forecasting, and decision-making.
  • Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and provide concise communication and escalation throughout.

What would make you really stand out?

  • The experience building an enablement program from the ground up with few resources.
