Job description

We are currently assisting a public accounting firm based in South Edmonton with their Accountant role. This is a full-time permanent onsite position.

Responsibilities:

• Production of financial reports
• In-depth financial analysis, cash flow management
• Accurate and timely preparation of personal and corporate taxes
• Preparation of Notice to Readers and compilation engagements
• Participate in audit and review engagements
• Providing assessment and consultative advice on financial and like matters
• Assist with full-cycle accounting duties, including accounts payables and receivables, account and credit card reconciliations, posting of journal entries as well as working closely with the General Ledger
• Additional duties assigned

Qualifications:

• At least 6+ monthof experience with public accounting
• CPA is desirable
• Excellent communication skills - written and verbal
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Highly organized, strong attention to detail
• Excellent interpersonal skills, self-starter, collaborative
• Experience with Casefair is an asset
