Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a passionate Sports Development Officer to promote and expand participation in sports programs across Kimberley, BC. You will identify opportunities, develop initiatives, and engage with local communities, schools, and sports clubs to increase sports engagement for all ages and abilities.

This role focuses on program delivery, budgeting, and outreach, with travel allowances for community outreach activities.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Sports Management, Leisure Studies, or related field.
• Experience in sports development, community engagement, or program management.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic plans for sports development within the community.
