Job summary

Edmonton International Airport (YEG) is seeking a Sponsorship and Events Advisor to plan and execute brand engagement across communities and partner organizations. You will manage sponsorships, in-kind support, event planning, and measurement to drive business results while aligning with YEG’s strategy.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education in marketing, communications, event planning or equivalent.
• 3–7 years’ experience in sponsorships or events, preferably in public sector or large civic institution.
• Experience managing budgets, vendors and multi-stakeholder projects.
• Strong written and verbal communications; comfortable briefing senior leaders.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute sponsorships and events to align with Edmonton Airports’ strategy.
• Identify partnership opportunities and manage engagement with external partners.
• Develop criteria, approvals and execution for sponsorships (cash/in-kind).
• Plan, execute and evaluate events from concept to post-event reporting.
• Prepare budgets, track spend and report ROI; manage in-kind facility use.
• Lead contracts, agreements and liaison with legal for partnerships.
• Report quarterly on sponsorships and partnerships.
