Job description

Reporting to the Manager, Marketing, the Marketing Specialist will execute end-to-end marketing campaigns to support Edmonton Airports' objectives. This includes campaign development, advertising, promotions, sales support, and partnership coordination. You will collaborate closely with internal teams and external partners to drive business growth.

Day in The Life
  • Execute High-Impact Campaigns – Plan, develop, and implement marketing campaigns from start to finish, ensuring strong performance, budget alignment, and partner satisfaction.
  • Full Campaign Ownership – Manage every stage of campaign execution, including research, strategy, creative development, launch, optimization, and analysis.
  • Budget Management – Partner on campaign budgeting, monitor costs, and ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Optimize for Success – Analyze campaign performance, identify opportunities for improvement, and implement data-driven optimizations to enhance efficiency and drive revenue growth.
  • Embrace Innovation – Stay ahead of emerging marketing trends and leverage the latest technologies to enhance campaign effectiveness and maintain a competitive edge.
  • Diverse Learning Opportunities – Take ownership of a specific portfolio and develop subject matter expertise while gaining exposure to a variety of areas, including aviation and sustainability, in a dynamic airport environment that fosters continuous learning.
  • Collaborate for Impact – Work closely with internal teams and external partners (airlines, air service, cargo, real estate, parking, commercial development, ESG) to drive engagement and achieve business goals.

Event Marketing & Activation – Support the planning and execution of events, in-terminal and around Edmonton, that enhance partner visibility, drive engagement, and elevate the overall customer experience.

What You Bring:
  • Education and Experience: Post-secondary education in Marketing, with a bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Commerce, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. 3+ years of progressive marketing experience, demonstrating growth and success in the field.
  • Project Management: Strong project management skills, with a proven track record of leading and delivering marketing campaigns on time and within budget.
  • Campaign Expertise: Experience in developing, executing, and managing marketing campaigns, including media buying and digital/social advertising. Budget management and reporting are second nature to you.
  • Fast-Paced Environment: A self-starter who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, enabling you to effectively convey ideas and collaborate with others.
  • Relationship Building: Ability to foster positive relationships across all levels—management, colleagues, partners and vendors.
  • Organizational Excellence: Exceptional organizational skills and keen attention to detail.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); experience with Adobe Creative Cloud and a strong understanding of Google Ads are valuable assets.
  • Must secure and maintain appropriate airport security clearance and pass a clean criminal record check as conditions of employment.
