Job summary

Techo-Bloc in Longueuil, QC is seeking a production worker to join our manufacturing team. The role involves cleaning molds, operating a forklift, and moving materials to support daily production priorities.

Candidates should be physically capable, safety-minded, and able to follow the supervisor’s directions while maintaining a clean, organized work environment. Training provided as needed by the team.

Responsibilities

• Clean molds and equipment as directed.
• Transport molds with a forklift and move materials to storage.
• Inspect machinery before shifts and report issues.
• Follow health, safety rules and keep the area clean.
• Assist with other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

• Clean our molds with a pressure washer
• Transport molds with a forklift
• Review work completed on previous shift and work to be completed according to priorities established by the production supervisor
• Handle products carefully to bring them to the storage line
• Transport various materials and/or supplies for operational needs
• Inspect machinery before the start of each shift and change operators as required
• Ensure the cleaning of the premises and equipment to keep the work environment clean and safe
• Notify the production supervisor of any mechanical breakdowns
• Operate the forklift safely and meticulously
• Be very vigilant in the method of driving, in order to avoid accidents and/or overturns: pedestrians, buildings, fixed equipment, trucks and other machinery
• Use the forklift according to its capabilities and limits
• Outdoor work environment
• Be buckled up at all times
• Responsible for cleaning the interior and exterior of the machine
• Comply with company health and safety rules
• All other related duties
