Job summary

Bombardier is seeking a Specialist in Quality - Strategy and Governance to lead governance for the Quality Vice-Presidency, coordinate across sites, and develop the Quality master plan. The role requires strong analytical and strategic capabilities and the ability to present to executive leadership.

You will partner with senior teams to ensure alignment on Quality and Product Safety priorities, while managing budgets and driving process improvements across the organization.

Qualifications

• 8 years of experience at Bombardier, including 3–5 years in operations and/or 3 years of management.
• Minimum college diploma.
• Strong analytical, financial, and strategic thinking.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to synthesize and present complex information to executive management.
• Strong interpersonal and leadership abilities; comfortable presenting to senior leadership.
• Team player with discretion in handling confidential matters.
• Proficient with MS Office in an O365 environment.
• Bilingual in French and English.

Responsibilities

• Lead governance of the Quality Vice-Presidency across forums, key activities, master plans, and performance indicators.
• Guide and influence the leadership team to align on a common strategic vision for Quality and Product Safety across sites.
• Define, structure, and monitor the Quality master plan and governance mechanisms such as the Bombardier Quality Council.
• Develop organizational structures that support operational efficiency, business continuity, and team succession planning.
• Prepare executive communications, analyses, and presentations to support decision-making within Quality and Product Safety leadership.
• Consolidate and support employee engagement initiatives within the function by fostering mobilization and alignment.
• Monitor workforce budgets, consolidate requirements, and provide analyses for planning and decision-making for the Quality organization.
• Harmonize, standardize, and improve operational processes with the sites, ensuring alignment with the BOE.

• Monitor workforce budgets, consolidate requirements, and provide the analyses needed to support planning and decision-making for the Quality organization.
• Harmonize, standardize, and improve operational processes with the sites, ensuring alignment with the BOE.
