Job summary

Bombardier is seeking a seasoned quality and product safety leader to advance governance across multiple sites. You will shape the Quality master plan, supervise forums and performance indicators, and ensure alignment on a shared strategic vision for quality.

Collaborating with senior leadership, you will prepare concise executive communications, support workforce planning and process improvements, and foster engagement while upholding rigorous standards of confidentiality and integrity.

Qualifications

• Experience at Bombardier and leadership in operations or management.
• Strong analytical, financial, and strategic thinking.
• Bilingual in French and English.

Responsibilities

• Lead governance of the Quality Vice-Presidency by planning, coordinating, and supporting forums, master plans, and performance indicators.
• Guide and influence the leadership team to ensure alignment on a common strategic vision for Quality and Product Safety across multiple sites.
• Define, structure, and monitor the Quality master plan, including priority initiatives and governance mechanisms such as the Bombardier Quality Council.
• Develop organizational structures that support operational efficiency, business continuity, and team succession planning.
• Prepare clear, targeted executive communications, analyses, and presentations to support decision-making within Quality leadership.
• Consolidate and support employee engagement initiatives within the function by fostering mobilization, participation, and alignment.
• Monitor workforce budgets, consolidate requirements, and provide analyses to support planning for the Quality organization.
• Harmonize, standardize, and improve operational processes with sites, ensuring alignment with BOE.

• Harmonize, standardize, and improve operational processes with the sites, ensuring alignment with the BOE.

How to thrive in this role?

• You have 8 years of experience at Bombardier, including 3-5 years in operations and/or 3 years of management experience or equivalent experience.
• You have at minimum a college diploma.
• You have strong analytical, financial, and strategic thinking skills.
• You have strong organizational skills and great attention to detail.
• You can synthesize and present complex information to an executive management team.
• You have strong interpersonal skills and demonstrate leadership skills while comfortable at delivering presentations to senior leadership.
• You are a strong team player whom others can rely on.
• You demonstrate discretion in handling highly confidential matters.
• You are proficient in the MS Office suite in an O365 environment.
• You are bilingual in French and English.
