Job summary

Moneris Solutions is seeking a Data Governance professional to implement and automate governance across the enterprise data platform. You will configure Snowflake capabilities, manage data lineage, and ensure data quality through DBT models and CI/CD workflows.

Collaborating with Data Engineering, Architecture, Security, and business teams, you will embed governance into data products and pipelines, monitor quality, and drive compliance outcomes. Hybrid work with competitive total rewards awaits.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Data Governance, Data Engineering, Data Management, or a related discipline.
• Hands-on experience with Snowflake, including Horizon Catalog, Lakehouse architecture, and Data Lineage.
• Experience with DBT models and frameworks.
• Experience using GitHub and CI/CD practices to support deployment and governance workflows.
• Proficiency in SQL and Python.
• Experience with data governance platforms such as Collibra or Microsoft Purview.
• Experience implementing metadata management, data cataloging, data lineage, and data quality solutions.

Location: You will be based in our Etobicoke office, balancing in-office collaboration with remote flexibility.

Reporting Relationship: You will report to Manager, Data Governance and Strategy.

Posting Type: Replacement.

Salary Range: The expected base salary range for this role is $99,000-$135,000.

• Experience in financial services or other regulated industries.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Understanding of privacy, security, and regulatory requirements, including PIPEDA and PCI DSS.
