Bird Construction is seeking a Specialist, Collaborative Delivery & Lean Construction to work with head office and project sites, facilitating workshops, promoting Lean practices, and supporting project development. Specialist, Collaborative Delivery and Lean Construction Reporting into the Collaborative Delivery Center of Excellence, the Specialist, Collaborative Delivery & Lean Construction will work closely with head office and project sites to help build high-performing project teams.
This role will support teams through workshop facilitation, Lean Construction practices, collaborative planning, and project development support, helping ensure teams have the tools, information, and alignment they need to execute effectively.
This role will support operations nationally as a shared resource across Industrial, Buildings, Infrastructure, and other groups as needed.
Based in the eastern Canada and working closely with counterparts in the West, this person will build credibility and strong working relationships with project teams and internal and external partners to provide seamless support to internal and external clients.
Travel to project sites and other offices will be required.
Strong communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to engage a variety of audiences and guide groups toward practical outcomes. The ability to build credibility, trust, and productive working relationships with project teams, business units, and senior leaders. Comfort working in complex, evolving environments where priorities, stakeholder needs, and project realities can shift quickly. Strong analytical, critical thinking, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills, with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail. The ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and stay focused under pressure in a dynamic project environment. Fluency in English is required; French is considered an asset. Ability to travel as needed.
