Role and Responsibilities

• Reporting to the Post-Production Team Manager, collaborate with Technical Writers, Illustrators, Publishers, IT representatives, software suppliers, and peers to develop Technical Publications Applications.
• Assess end-user needs and document requirements.
• Perform analysis, problem-solving, and evaluate activities related to upcoming application changes or proposals.

How to Thrive in This Role

• Hold a degree in Computer Science or equivalent with at least five years of experience in Technical Publications, preferably in aerospace or manufacturing OEM environments.
• Knowledge of Aerospace Technical Publications processes, ATA, S1000D standards, and XML/SGML data structures.
• Experience with content management systems like RWS Contenta S1000D CSDB, and with data transformation languages such as XSLT, XSL-FO, CSS.
• Proficiency with RWS XML Professional Publisher, scripting with Perl, GIT, Java, SQL, HTML, and PDF document creation/editing.
• Familiarity with ADempiere or similar Subscription Management Systems, Typo3 or similar CMS, and bilingual in French and English with excellent writing skills.
