Application Consultant
This remote role welcomes candidates anywhere in Canada and the US.
Our Implementation Team is looking for an Application Consultant passionate about providing segregated IT transformation for our clients. The candidate should act as a conduit between Operations, R&D, and clients, working cross-functionally to become a product expert and a client process advisor.
The Application Consultant role is project-driven and supports a wide array of services for our customers.
What your impact will be:
- Work with colleagues and managers to implement and proactively manage technology solutions for our clients.
- Provide implementation support to new clients, leading them through the process, communicating effectively, and resolving issues to ensure successful product utilization. Train users in system setup, administration, and maintenance.
- Conduct business analysis through gap analysis, root cause analysis, business process reviews & documentation, and requirements elicitation to understand client needs and help achieve organizational goals.
- Understand clients' business processes and configure applications based on their needs and industry best practices.
- Own the user acceptance testing and change management process, ensuring stakeholder satisfaction through testing and training.
- Create user documentation and handover materials to support staff.
- Build client capabilities by identifying opportunities for additional products and services that meet their needs.
- Support Project Managers by managing engagement contracts, identifying bottlenecks, and providing project updates.
- Deliver implementation services efficiently, meeting key milestones on time and utilizing resources effectively.
- Provide subject matter expertise to R&D and operational groups, understanding market trends and client needs to ensure product success and industry competitiveness.

- Experience working with both business and IT groups
- Ability to travel up to 25% within North America
What would make you stand out:
- Experience in system configuration
- Knowledge of SQL
- Knowledge of Customer Information System (CIS) processes and functionality
- Experience in software implementation in the utility industry
