Job summary

MANNARINO Systems & Software Inc. is seeking a Spacecraft EMC Systems Engineer to own EMC concept, analysis, verification and mitigation for multiple satellite programmes, working with platform and payload teams to ensure an electrically clean, reliable and launch‑ready spacecraft.

The role requires leading cross‑disciplinary teams, mentoring engineers, and coordinating with RF, Power, Structures, Propulsion and Software teams to resolve EMC issues.

Qualifications

• B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace or Physics, with 10+ years of electrical design experience on LEO/MEO/GEO missions.
• Proficiency in spacecraft and unit EMC requirements and simulations.
• Experience supervising a team of EMC engineers or leading multi-disciplinary task-forces.
• Strong understanding of aerospace system engineering fundamentals.
• Hands-on with systems integration processes and problem solving.
• Experience with Confluence and JIRA.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills in English; French knowledge is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Own EMC concept, analysis, verification and mitigation for multiple satellite programmes.
• Define EMC architecture (shielding, grounding, antenna placement, mode-control, routing constraints).
• Perform EMC analyses for radiated/conducted emission and susceptibility and verify early design compliance.
• Review DC power distribution for EMC/EMI and related cabling.
• Coordinate with RF, Power, Structures, Propulsion, Software and Ground-Segment teams to resolve EMC issues.
• Lead IVV tests, write procedures and acceptance criteria for EMC verification.
• Mentor junior engineers, liaise with customers and vendors, and drive continuous improvement.
• Maintain documentation, change control and standards compliance in PLM.
