Job summary

MANNARINO Systems & Software Inc. seeks an experienced Electrical Power System Engineer to lead the design, analysis, verification, and integration of EPS for current and future satellites.

You will work with payload, bus, thermal, and mission teams to deliver high-performance, reliable EPS solutions for commercial, government, and defense customers. Responsibilities include architecture definition, interface control, weight and power budget studies, IVV activities, and mentoring junior

Qualifications

• B.Sc in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Physics, or a related field with 8+ years of EPS system design experience on LEO and/or MEO platforms.
• Deep knowledge of spacecraft bus subsystems and their interactions.
• Experience with power electronics design and power management hardware.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English; knowledge of French is an asset.
• Experience with Confluence and Jira.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Define EPS architecture (generation, storage, distribution) to meet power budgets and reliability constraints.
• Size and specify solar arrays, batteries, power-conditioning units and distribution hardware.
• Develop and validate high-fidelity electrical models and power budget analyses.
• Interface with bus teams and stakeholders; present risk analyses and trade studies.
