Job summary

MANNARINO is seeking an Electrical Power System Engineer to lead EPS architecture and detailed design for current and next-generation satellites. You will work closely with payload, bus, thermal, and mission systems teams to deliver high-performance, reliable EPS subsystems for commercial, government, and defense customers.

The role requires 8+ years of EPS experience, strong knowledge of power electronics and spacecraft buses, and excellent English communication.

Qualifications

• B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering or related field with 8+ years EPS design experience on LEO/MEO platforms.
• Deep knowledge of spacecraft bus subsystems and their interactions.
• Experience with power electronics design and power management hardware.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English; French knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Define EPS architecture (generation, storage, distribution) to meet power budget, mass and reliability constraints.
• Size solar arrays, power-conditioning units, batteries, and distribution hardware; develop interface documents.
• Build and validate high-fidelity electrical models for operating modes and fault analyses; perform power budget and load-flow analyses.
• Present technical status and trade-studies to stakeholders and management; interface with spacecraft teams.
• Mentor junior engineers; act as technical liaison with customers and suppliers; drive process improvements.
• Maintain design and safety standards and ensure configuration control in PLM; support design reviews and roadmaps.
