Dalhousie University’s Dal Food Services, operated by Aramark, seeks a Sous Chef to support the Residence Dining Manager and Executive Chef in delivering high-quality food service on campus.
You will provide culinary leadership, oversee daily operations, and help manage inventory, staff development, and customer engagement while upholding safety standards and company policies.

We’re seeking a Sous Chef to join the Dal Food Services team at Dalhousie University! As the Sous Chef, you will report to the Residence Dining Manager with a dotted line to the Executive Chef and be responsible for supporting the Residence Dining Manager and Executive Chef in providing culinary leadership in the planning, production, administration and management of a high-quality food service at Dalhousie University.

This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing. This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00.
