Valley Staffing Inc. is seeking a 3rd shift Material Inspector to inspect, separate, and stack pallets, frames, and lids in a warehouse setting in British Columbia. The role requires lifting up to 75 pounds and logging materials on sorting sheets as part of inventory control.

Responsibilities include maintaining quality standards, responding to requests, and collaborating with the team to improve workplace safety and efficiency on shift beginning at 10pm to 6:30am.

Qualificações

• High school or GED is required.
• Knowledge of basic hand tools is required.

Shift: 3rd shift 10pm-6:30am

Job Summary: Primarily responsible for inspection, separating and stacking materials such as pallets, frames and lids.

Essential Functions:

• Inspect and separate material according to Quality standards.
• Distinguishes different material and understands inventory and inventory control.
• Responds to requests for assistance in a timely manner.
• Ensure materials is logged appropriately on the sorting sheet.
• Notifies supervisor of any quality or safety issues.
• Maintains effective interpersonal working relationships and functions as a team member.
• Ensures proper care in the use and maintenance of equipment and supplies and promotes continuous improvement of workplace safety and environmental practices.
• Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

Working conditions:

• Occasional outside work required
• Employees must frequently lift and/or move up to 75 pounds or more.

Requirements:
