Job summary

Valley Staffing Inc. is seeking a 3rd shift Material Inspector to inspect, separate, and stack pallets, frames, and lids in a warehouse setting in British Columbia. The role requires lifting up to 75 pounds and logging materials on sorting sheets as part of inventory control.

Responsibilities include maintaining quality standards, responding to requests, and collaborating with the team to improve workplace safety and efficiency on shift beginning at 10pm to 6:30am.

Qualifications

• High school or GED is required.
• Knowledge of basic hand tools is required.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and separate material according to Quality standards.
• Distinguish different material and understand inventory and inventory control.
• Respond to requests for assistance in a timely manner.
• Ensure materials are logged appropriately on the sorting sheet.
• Notify supervisor of any quality or safety issues.
• Maintain effective interpersonal working relationships and function as a team member.
• Promote workplace safety and environmental practices and proper equipment care.
