Job summary

Purolator in Etobicoke, ON is hiring a PM Sorter to join our warehouse team. You will sort and move freight by destination, weight, size, and shape to meet daily delivery schedules.

This role requires English proficiency and ability to lift up to 70 pounds, with a Monday to Friday shift from 4:00 PM to 11:30 PM (36.25 hours per week). Pay is $21.31 per hour and training will be provided.

Qualifications

• Specialized education is not required.
• No experience is necessary.
• Language requirement: Proficiency in English is required for this position.

• Unload freight onto the conveyor and from conveyor into trailers.
• Unload freight off conveyor or chute for load-out.
• Load freight into truck or trailer.
• Preload mail and packages into curbside delivery vehicles.
• Manually transfer bulk or non-conveyable items.
• Scan all shipped or received mail or packages to identify improperly sorted mail or packages.

Responsibilities

• Unload freight onto the conveyor and from conveyor into trailers
• Unload freight off conveyor or chute for load-out
• Load freight into truck or trailer
• Preload mail and packages into curbside delivery vehicles
• Manually transfer bulk or non-conveyable items
• Scan all shipped or received mail or packages to identify improperly sorted packaged mail or packages and mail marked for priority or weekend delivery.
