Purolator in Etobicoke, ON is hiring a PM Sorter for the warehouse team. The role involves sorting freight by destination, weight, size, and shape to support client delivery schedules. You will work under the evening shift from 4:00 PM to 11:30 PM, 36.25 hours per week, with pay at $21.31 per hour.

This position emphasizes safety, accuracy, and efficient handling of shipments. No prior experience is required; specialized education is not needed.

• Scan all shipped or received mail or packages to identify improperly sorted items.

Description

The PM Sorter sorts and separates freight by destination, weight, size, and shape to meet client delivery schedules.

Responsibilities

• Unload freight from curbside trucks onto the conveyor and from conveyor into curbside trucks
• Unload freight off conveyor or chute for load‑out
• Load freight into linehaul / cube truck or trailer
• Preload mail and packages into curbside delivery vehicles
• Manually transfer bulk or non‑conveyable items
• Scan all shipped or received mail or packages to identify improperly sorted packaged mail or packages and mail marked for priority or weekend delivery.
