Job summary

Purolator in Brantford, ON is seeking a PM Sorter to join our warehouse team. You will sort and load freight by destination, weight, size and shape to meet delivery schedules, with a shift from 4:00 PM to 6:30 PM, Monday to Friday.

No specialized education or prior experience is required; training is provided. Proficiency in English is required for daily coordination with drivers and colleagues in a fast-paced environment.

Location: Brantford, ON

Shift: Monday to Friday 4pm to 6:30pm

The PM Sorter sorts and separates freight by destination, weight, size, and shape to meet client delivery schedules.

Responsibilities

• Unload freight from curbside trucks onto the conveyor and from conveyor into curbside trucks
• Unload freight off conveyor or chute for load-out
• Load freight into linehaul / cube truck or trailer
• Preload mail and packages into curbside delivery vehicles
• Manually transfer bulk or non-conveyable items
• Scan all shipped or received mail or packages to identify improperly sorted packaged mail or packages and mail marked for priority or weekend delivery.

Experience
