Job summary

Purolator in Fredericton, New Brunswick is hiring a PM Sorter to help meet client delivery schedules. The role involves unloading freight from trucks, sorting by destination, weight, size and shape, and preparing items for linehaul and curbside delivery.

Shift is Monday to Friday, 4:00pm to 6:00pm (10 hours/week) with a pay rate of $19.28/hour. No prior experience is required; physical tasks include lifting up to 70 pounds in a warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Unload freight from curbside trucks onto the conveyor and from conveyor into curbside trucks
• Unload freight off conveyor or chute for load-out
• Load freight into linehaul / cube truck or trailer
• Preload mail and packages into curbside delivery vehicles
• Manually transfer bulk or non-conveyable items
• Scan all shipped or received mail or packages to identify improperly sorted packaged mail or packages and mail marked for priority or weekend delivery.
