Job summary

FedEx is seeking an interview-position Operations Supervisor to lead Cargo Handlers in station sort operations and to support the Safety Above All Culture. You will mentor staff, direct work activities, and ensure compliance with FXE policies and government regulations.

The role requires a college degree, supervision experience, and the ability to lift heavy packages; strong leadership and communication skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• College degree required.
• 2 years FedEx sort operations or senior hourly role experience; or 2 years supervisory experience.
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
• Completion of basic and recurrency training including DG certification.
• Ability to mentor, coach, and lead a team to meet safety and quality standards.
• Strong organizational, planning and analytical abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and guide staff in package handling, routing and recovery of service failures.
• Oversee Cargo Handlers and day-to-day station sort operations.
• Ensure compliance with FXE policies, procedures and regulations.
