Job description

About Us:

Love at First Sight 4D, located in Whitby, is renowned for its elective 3D/4D ultrasound experiences.

Requirements:

  • Candidates must be able to identify fetal anatomy, perform weight, and gestational age of the fetus.
  • Determine gender as early as 14 weeks
  • Ideal candidates could perform 2D, 3D, and 4D ultrasounds and professionally speak in front of small groups of people.
  • Must have a certificate in ultrasound/sonography
  • Minimum 1 year experience
  • Excellent computer skills
  • Own transportation
  • Must be flexible with their schedule and availability. Weekend availability is a must.

Duties and Respsonibilties:

  • Performing the ultrasound and ensuring the transducer (probe) is capturing images correctly.
  • Explaining the ultrasound procedure to clients in order to avoid confusion
  • Maintaining ultrasound equipment and sterilizing the room in which the procedure takes place.
  • Write reports based upon the scan results and completion
  • Use independent thinking, judgment, and skills to obtain high-quality ultrasound images.
  • Effectively communicates with the patient and the family
  • Extremely personable and welcoming with patients
  • Get the necessary paperwork signed (forms)
  • Efficiently process the payment from the client
  • Make a hard copy of images and videos (export onto USB)
  • Adhere to Health and Safety practices and policies implemented
  • The ability to solve problems and make decisions.
  • Maintain a clean, properly stocked work area
  • Care properly for equipment
  • Display good work ethic, friendly, and cheerful disposition
  • Maintain a high level of confidentiality

Training and Development

This is especially beneficial for candidates who may have experience in traditional ultrasound techniques but are less familiar with 3D/4D imaging.

Qualifications:

  • Certification in Diagnostic Medical Sonography.
  • Experience in OBGYN ultrasound diagnostics.
  • Proficiency in advanced ultrasound technology.
  • Strong communication skills and a patient-centric approach.
  • Committed to high-quality care and patient comfort.
