You will collaborate with business analysts, vendors, and digital partners to deliver architecture that accelerates value and maintains governance across delivery teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Engineering, or related field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum seven (7) years of experience with ERP, HCM, and Identity solutions.
• Preference for integration architecture experience.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Customer-first service mindset and approach.
• Expertise in HCM, ERP, and Financial Systems, especially designing integrations with enterprise applications.

Responsibilities

• Champion architectural standards and guardrails for program decisions.

Agilus by Synergie is recruiting for a Solution Architect in the Utilities in a hybrid work environment in Calgary, Alberta.

Reporting to the Principal Enterprise Architect, Digital Strategy, Planning & Architecture, you will leverage your broad technical expertise and collaboration skills to support the development of technical solutions within AltaGas' technology ecosystem, with a specific focus on application integrations.

You will:

• As a visible champion of our core values, you will actively engage with Digital team members and business partners, rolling up your sleeves to achieve results.
• While the role spans the enterprise, it will primarily focus on initiatives within our Corporate portfolio, helping us leverage technology to accelerate value delivery across AltaGas.
• You will ensure architectural standards and guardrails are in place for key program decisions and partner with service providers to enable leading-practice architectural governance and oversight.
• You will work with system integrators and vendors to ensure integration designs align with enterprise integration strategy.
• Partnering with business analysts and functional leads, you will ensure technical solutions meet business requirements.
• You will be accountable for ensuring project and program architecture decisions are technically sound and aligned with AltaGas standards and architectural principles.
• You will facilitate alignment across the program, collaborating with technical leadership and stakeholders across the broader enterprise portfolio.
• You will be responsible for maintaining architectural consistency across delivery teams and ensuring the architecture function is actively represented during key decisions.

Successful candidates will have:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum seven (7) years of related experience working with ERP, HCM, and Identity solutions.
• Preference will be given to candidates with strong integration architecture experience.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Customer-first service mindset and approach.
• Expertise in HCM, ERP, and Financial Systems, particularly in designing integrations with enterprise applications, is considered an asset.
