Job summary

Agilus Work Solutions is seeking a Cyber/Infrastructure Business Analyst for a hybrid role in Calgary, Alberta. You will work with the IT department to design, specify technical requirements and software specifications to keep business operations running smoothly and efficiently.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years as a Business Analyst, a BSc in Computer Science or Business, and strong analytical skills with the ability to influence stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst.
• Strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
• Ability to influence stakeholders and define solutions.
• BSc in CS, Business or related field.
• Familiarity with BI tools and data visualization is a plus.

Agilus by Synergie is recruiting for a Cyber/Infrastructure Business Analyst in the Utilities in a hybrid work environment in Calgary, Alberta. As an IT business analyst with our company, you'll work with the IT department to design, create and implement the necessary technical requirements and software specifications that ensure the business side of things can run smoothly and efficiently.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze business needs, documenting requirements, and revising existing system difficulties as necessary
• Guide and advise stakeholders in corrective steps to enhance business processes
• Collaborate with department leaders to create cost-effective solutions
• Coordinate the development of documentation to enable implementation and turnover of the process of system

Requirements:

• Proven work experience as a Business Analyst (5+ years)
• Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills
• Ability to influence stakeholders and work closely with them to determine acceptable solutions
• BSc degree in Computer Science, Business or a related field
• Familiarity with business intelligence tools and experience in data visualization, consider an asset
