Job summary

Agilus by Synergie is seeking an Intermediate .NET Software Developer in Calgary, Alberta, for a 6-month contract in a hybrid setting. You will work on an internal web app handling rail logistics, fleet management, and invoice reconciliation, using C#, Blazor, and Azure.

The role reports to the Tech Lead and emphasizes clean, secure code and solid collaboration. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with .NET web apps, SQL Server, HTML/CSS, and Azure, plus Git-based workflows.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in software development with a focus on .NET web applications.
• Proficiency in C#, ASP.NET Blazor, Entity Framework, SQL Server, HTML, and CSS.
• Experience with Azure deployment and management of web applications.
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps for Git source control and sprint planning.

Agilus by Synergie is recruiting for a .NET Software Developer in the Utilities in a hybrid work environment in Calgary, Alberta. seeking an Intermediate .NET Software Developer to join our team on a contract basis, reporting directly to the project’s Tech Lead. You will work on an internal web application designed to streamline and improve processes for our transportation team, covering aspects such as rail logistics, fleet management, and invoice reconciliation

Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and enhance web application features using C#, ASP.NET Blazor, and Entity Framework.
• Design and optimize SQL Server database solutions to ensure data integrity, security, and performance.
• Integrate application functionality with Microsoft Azure services for hosting, storage, and security.
• Use Azure DevOps for Git source control and work/sprint planning, contributing to a structured and efficient development process.
• Collaborate with the Tech Lead and other team members to understand project requirements and deliver well-designed, high-quality solutions.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in software development with a focus on .NET web applications.
• Proficiency in C#, ASP.NET Blazor, Entity Framework, SQL Server, HTML, and CSS or similar transferable skillsets.
• Experience with Azure, including deployment and management of web applications.
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps for Git source control and work/sprint planning.
