Job summary

AMYLIOR INC. in Sherbrooke is seeking a Mechanical Designer to design, document, and validate seating products. You will create drawings, models, and assemblies, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to innovate and meet user needs on site in Sherbrooke.

The role requires a DEP/DEC or equivalent in technical drafting, at least two years in manufacturing, and proficiency in SolidWorks. French fluency is essential; English is an asset. Competitive salary and benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Education in technical drafting, industrial design, or related field is required.
• Minimum of two years of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Fluency in French is required; English is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Create drawings, models, and assemblies for standard and custom products.
• Contribute to product development by proposing innovative solutions for internal and external customers.
• Develop test protocols and design required test fixtures.
• Assemble and evaluate prototypes, document issues, and recommend corrective actions.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Production, and Quality teams to ensure feasibility of concepts.
