University of Toronto Scarborough invites applications for a Sessional Lecturer I–III in the Department of Physical & Environmental Science. The course EESB05DH3 Principles of Soil Science will be taught in person on Fridays from 10:00 to 12:00 at UTSC.

The appointment runs January 1, 2027 to April 30, 2027 with pay rates under the CUPE 3902 Unit 3 collective agreement; PhD in Environmental Science, Forestry, or Geography is required, and teaching experience is valued.

Qualifications

• PhD in Environmental Science, Forestry, or Geography.
• Previous teaching experience at university level preferred.

Responsibilities

• All duties related to the teaching of a university credit undergraduate course, including preparation of lectures, lecturing, supervising laboratories, creation of exams, term tests and assignments; marking, marks management and supervision of TAs.
