Teledyne FLIR Integrated Imaging Solutions seeks a Software Test Leader for imaging systems and camera technologies. You will lead a team responsible for testing host software, embedded firmware, and FPGA-based systems across a multi-site portfolio, driving test automation and quality improvements.

Ideal candidates bring 8+ years in software test/validation, strong leadership, and experience with Python, C/C++, embedded systems, and test automation frameworks.

Qualifications

  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Experience designing automated test frameworks and CI/CD test pipelines.
  • 8+ years in software development, test, or validation engineering.
  • Experience leading, mentoring, or coordinating engineering teams.
  • Experience with embedded systems, firmware, or image-acquisition technologies.
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor a team of software test engineers, providing technical guidance and coaching.
  • Define test strategies covering unit, integration, system, and regression testing.
  • Drive development of automated test frameworks using PyTest, GTest, and related tools.
  • Establish scalable validation architectures for software, firmware, and FPGA-based products.
  • Partner with software, firmware, and hardware teams to improve product testability.
  • Coordinate validation activities across multiple engineering sites.
  • Implement automated workflows to reproduce and analyze customer-reported issues.
  • Track quality metrics, defects, and release readiness.
  • Promote AI-assisted tools for test development, code review, and documentation.
  • Champion a quality-focused culture and continuous improvement initiatives.

Salary Range

$93,700.00-$124,900.000 The anticipated salary range listed for this role is only an estimate.
