Social media today isn’t about staged photos or polished perfection. It’s real, raw, behind-the-scenes storytelling that builds trust and drives demand. We work with brands to develop documentary-style, often founder-led content that actually connects—and we’re looking for a Social Media Manager to bring that to life. Job Title: Social Media Manager Team: Social Media Reports to: Social Media Director Manages: Freelancers, UGC Creators (as needed) Role Summary: The Social Media Manager will be hands-on in building and executing content strategies across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube Shorts, and LinkedIn—for both Consultus Digital and our clients. This role is perfect for someone who’s obsessed with video-first content, understands what performs, and can keep up with the speed of social. You’ll manage content calendars, help direct shoots, collaborate with creators, and ensure everything we publish feels real, on-brand, and impactful. Targets Output KPIs: Growth in followers and engagement across platforms Content performance (watch time, shares, saves, CTRs) Consistency and volume of content published Influencer/UGC content delivery and execution Input KPIs: Number of video posts per week (internal client) Turnaround time on trends and client deliverables Calendar accuracy and campaign execution Timely, clear client communication SLA: 24-hour response time for social-related client queries (excluding weekends) Key Responsibilities: Content Execution & Publishing Own day-to-day posting across all key platforms Write captions and creative hooks that drive engagement Maintain and manage detailed content calendars Ensure brand tone and visuals are consistent across all touchpoints Video-First Storytelling Capture and edit behind-the-scenes, real-time content Collaborate with creators, videographers, and internal team Spot trends early and execute quickly Assist in storyboarding or directing quick shoots Collaboration & Support Work alongside strategists, account managers, and creatives Support influencer and UGC campaigns through coordination and content alignment Align organic efforts with paid strategy as needed Performance & Insights Track analytics and provide performance snapshots Recommend optimizations based on data Help create monthly reports for clients and internal brands Role Requirements: Hard Skills: 2 years of social media execution experience (agency preferred) Proficient with TikTok, Reels, Shorts, and LinkedIn content Video editing skills (CapCut, Adobe Rush, or similar) Social analytics understanding (native tools reporting platforms) Excellent writing and storytelling instincts Strong understanding of trend cycles, content hooks, and audience behaviour Soft Skills: Detail-oriented and highly organized Fast-moving and proactive—nothing falls through the cracks Creative thinker with a marketing brain Loves collaboration but can self-manage and execute independently Compensation: Salary Range: $55,000 - $75,000/year performance-based bonuses Perks: Comprehensive health benefits $1,000 annual education & development fund Brand-new MacBook and gear WFH (Thurs & Fri) WFA: Work From Anywhere January – April
