In an environment where the only constant is change, we create common ground between brands and audiences across communities and social media. Fueled by a unique culture built in and around meritocracy, we bring the passion, the know-how and the balance necessary to maintain the charted course we set for ourselves: to be the best, we employ the best. Are you ready to be part of the ICUC team?

Position Overview:

As a Social Media Manager, you will join the Strategy team with colleagues working remotely from around the world, with an unparalleled passion for all things social. Together as a team, and individually, you will help establish our clients’ online presence and brand value by cultivating data-driven insights and delivering top-tier services, as well as supporting internal department needs. This includes building brand voice response matrices, data analysis, copywriting, calendar management, publishing, community management, implementing social listening and consumer advocacy tactics, and playbook development.

You’ll play a lead role in creating social-first content, from crafting copy to producing video and visual assets that drives engagement, reflects brand voice, and is tailored to each platform’s best practices.

You must be prepared to work in a fast-paced, self-motivated, entrepreneurial environment; be a team player who is social-savvy and can work independently yet collectively in a unique virtual environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Support clients' business and communications objectives, with a data-first mindset.
  • Lead the organic development and growth of various communities and social media activities across the client’s social ecosystem.
  • Create and publish social-first content that’s native to each platform, including copy, static visuals, carousels, and short-form video (e.g. Reels, TikTok, Shorts).
  • Support in the development and execution of content pillars and social calendars aligned with KPIs, business objectives, corporate priorities, and overarching marketing and social needs.
  • Manage monthly social calendars. Source visuals, edit assets, and collaborate with creative teams or clients as needed. Research, craft, and publish interactive, thoughtful, and provoking content that encourages community participation.
  • Monitor and analyze the performance and impact of social media activities. Use insights to refine content output.
  • Help identify proactive engagement opportunities and search for user-generated content for clients.
  • Engage with the online community by responding to comments, messages, and reviews.
  • Proactively escalate issues, trends, opportunities, and insights through the relevant channels in a timely manner.
  • Adopt and educate on up-and-coming platforms and technology.
  • Participate in client meetings and stay active and informed on the tools and platforms they use. Support them with issues, opportunities and tips. Proactively provide thought leadership, recommendations, and education on ICUC capabilities.
  • Act as a resource to help fuel organic business growth for ICUC.

KPIs:

  • Maintain consistency across client executions: goals, guidelines, brand voice and learnings and optimizations.
  • Ensure 100% of the approved content calendar is published on time.
  • Weekly updates for clients on the state of their social landscape.
  • Provide clients with at least once per month with a proactive engagement opportunity or trend to activate on their social channels.

Who You Are:

  • At least 2 years of social media community and reporting experience, demonstrating proficiency in managing social media platforms.
  • Experience producing content for brand channels; writing copy, editing visuals, and creating short-form video for platforms like Instagram Reels, TikTok, and LinkedIn.
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, advertising, PR, or equivalent, providing a solid educational background.
  • Resourceful with a can-do attitude, thriving in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in Canva, Adobe Express, CapCut, or similar tools used to create social-first content.
  • Strong sense of account ownership and pride in work, coupled with effective time management skills to handle tasks efficiently.
  • Detail-oriented, with a keen sense of decorum and brand appropriateness, ensuring consistency in brand representation.
  • Friendly, composed, and cooperative self-starter, demonstrating initiative and a willingness to collaborate.
  • Charismatic with a willingness to learn from others and contribute social media expertise to the team.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including engaging presentation abilities.
  • Experience with Social Media Management Systems like Hootsuite, Sprinklr, Khoros, etc., facilitating effective social media management.
  • Proficiency in content publishing & writing, social listening, and performance reporting, contributing to successful social media strategies.
  • Knowledgeable about past and current social media trends, marketing, and business strategies.
  • Regular user of Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and TikTok, with awareness of other social media channels.
