About us

Trexo Robotics is enabling mobility by building powered wearable robots. Our first product is a robot for children with movement disorders such as Cerebral Palsy, and it allows kids to walk, in many cases, for the first time in their lives. The device is currently being used by hundreds of families and the best hospitals across North America.

About the job

We are looking for an experienced professional to take the lead in growing our social media presence, with a primary focus on driving significant organic growth and engagement. For example, a key goal will be to grow our Instagram following from 100k to 1M through impactful campaigns and strategies.

In addition to social media, you will support broader digital marketing initiatives, including crafting effective email campaigns, developing content strategies, and enhancing brand awareness. By leveraging analytics, you’ll refine our marketing efforts, collaborate on go-to-market strategies, and explore new channels to amplify the company’s reach and drive overall growth.

This position is hybrid (3 days in our office in Mississauga)

You are a seasoned marketing professional with a proven ability to grow social media accounts and drive digital engagement. You are creative and thrive on crafting impactful campaigns that build brand awareness and foster community engagement. You have experience in testing new tactics to build on and expand growth potential.

What you'll do

  • Take ownership of social media channels (Instagram, LinkedIn, X, Facebook, and Pinterest) to drive brand awareness and engage with the community. Your focus will be growing a targeted, actively engaged audience and hitting milestone that support the department’s goals quarterly, and annually.

  • Seek out and identify opportunities to create new social partnerships and collaborate to increase reach with audiences that are similar to ours.

  • Develop and execute content strategies, build a content calendar and syndicate the content to grow and optimize organic traffic.

  • Create and publish content (video content will make up 75% of your content) to all Trexo’s social channels, including engaging with our customers to tell powerful stories across all priority channels.

  • Use social metrics to track and optimize campaigns, refining strategies based on performance insights.

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure content is aligned with overall campaigns, messaging and department goals.

  • Support broader marketing efforts by: building and managing online and in-person events, email campaigns to nurture user engagement and drive conversions, and interdepartmental support for colleagues, as required.

Required Skills

  • 4+ years of experience in marketing, with a strong emphasis on managing and growing social media accounts (ideally surpassing 100k followers)

  • Strong experience with various social media platforms and current content trends.

  • Experience in creating, editing, and optimizing content (etc., images, video, podcasts) for digital platforms.

  • Experience in small marketing team, ideally as an early marketing hire at an early-stage startup.

  • Proven success in creating impactful social media campaigns and building engaged online communities.

  • Excellent communication and project managment skills, with a proactive and ownership-driven approach to marketing.

  • Strong analytical skills and a data-driven mindset for measuring and optimizing campaign performance.

Nice to Have

  • Hands-on experience planning and executing virtual or in-person marketing events, such as webinars or road shows.

  • Experience in marketing for medical devices, non-profit healthcare organizations, or related healthcare products.
