Job summary

Encore Global is seeking a Sales Coordinator to assist the Event Technology team by selling equipment and services for events of all sizes, with a focus on those under $5K in revenue. You will handle order entry, opportunity management, billing, and customer follow-up from a hotel/convention center environment.

Responsibilities include direct sales of smaller events, ensuring CRM accuracy, and coordinating with venue leadership.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a High School diploma; BS/BA is preferred or 1+ years of sales/event experience
• Prior technology, sales, hospitality or event planning experience a plus
• Technical aptitude and proficiency with computer software and programs
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

• Sell smaller events such as Banquet Event Order bookings, exhibitors, affiliate business, and ICW events
• Maximize revenue and adhere to event profit guidelines for all assigned business
• Attend client meetings and respond to client concerns, questions and problems
• Close business by obtaining commitment to buy while maximizing revenue and adhering to profit guidelines
• Maintain accurate CRM records and follow up through billing and post-event evaluations
