Job summary

Encore Global in Mississauga, Canada, seeks a Sales Coordinator to support the Event Technology team by selling equipment and services for events, especially those under CAD 5K in revenue. You will manage order entry, CRM updates, and client follow-up.

You will need strong communication skills and technical aptitude, plus hospitality experience, to ensure top-notch service. Hourly pay ranges CAD 21.00–24.00, with potential overtime or incentives depending on location and qualifications.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a High School diploma; BS/BA preferred or 1+ years of sales/event experience
• Prior technology, sales, hospitality or event planning experience a plus
• Technical aptitude and proficiency with computer software and programs
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

• Sell smaller events and venues, including BEO bookings, exhibitors, affiliate business and ICW events
• Maximize revenue while adhering to event profit guidelines
• Attend client meetings and respond to client questions and concerns
• Close business by obtaining commitment to buy and maximize revenue
• Handle client requests via phone, chat, email and other channels; ensure smooth hand-offs
• Follow up with clients through final billing and post-event evaluations
• Use ENCORE tools and CRM to respond quickly to customer requests
• Keep CRM accurate and up to date
• Coordinate information exchange with venue leadership teams
